BfArM: AMIce Public Part Becomes Completely Free of Charge
From 13 February, the Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices (BfArM) will offer the public part of the drug information system (AMIce) in its entirety for free research.
The database contains information on all medicinal products on the market in Germany, as well as on products whose marketing authorisation or registration has expired. The BfArM updates and maintains the database together with the other German drug regulatory authorities BVL, and PEI.
The database can be searched via PharmNet.Bund under Drug Information System.
Please note that at present the database is available only in German.
