What phases are involved in planning a construction project?

When planning building construction, after the basic investment decision has be made, two phases are differentiated:

  • basic design serves as the basis for the call for tenders to select companies which can be contracted to construct the premises and infrastructure systems,
  • detailed design follows the contractor selection process and serves as the basis for the realisation of the invest-ment project.
