What is meant by adjustment?
Adjustment means the setting or tuning of the measuring instrument to the smallest possible deviation from the correct value (given by the reference or the standard). During adjustment, you must make changes to the instrument, i.e. the original setting or parameterization of the instrument is changed or cancelled during the adjustment.
