What are the requirements for gas distribution systems?

In a gas distribution system, a receiver is typically installed downstream of the generating unit, with individual consumption points connected via a network of pipes, usually made from galvanised or stainless steel. The principle of "keep it simple" should guide the installation of gas distribution systems. Critical areas require dedicated systems, and stainless steel is preferred for piping. Consumer connections that contact the product must have a sterile filter, which should be regularly tested for integrity, especially in sterile applications.
