WHO: HVAC Systems

WHO presents as part of it's Technical Report Series 961 in the issue 45 the document "Supplementary guidelines on good manufacturing practices for heating, ventilation and airconditioning systems for non-sterile pharmaceutical dosage forms".

These guidelines mainly focus on recommendations for heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) systems for manufacturers of solid dosage forms.

Temperature, relative humidity and ventilation should be appropriate and should not adversely affect the quality of pharmaceutical products during their manufacture and storage, or the accurate functioning of equipment.

Please find the Guideline as Annex 5 of the WHO Technical Report Nr. 45.
