“With changing international policies in regulating pharmaceutical industry, India needs to realign its priorities and must constantly engage with members of international community to mould itself and increase its exports. As Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and Russian region are of great strategic importance for Indian pharmaceutical exports, the proposed Joint Pharmaceutical Venture is a great opportunity for the Indian pharma industry said,” Uday Bhaskar, Director General of Pharmexcil (Pharmaceuticals Export Promotion Council of India).
Undeniably, this pharma venture holds long-term export potential for Indian manufacturers, as Russia is the largest market in the Central & Eastern Europe Region with a strong focus on generics.
