Diana Westerbarkey

Diana Westerbarkey is a process group leader at Rottendorf Pharma GmbH and is responsible for the qualification of equipment in the areas of laboratory, production and packaging. Diana Westerbarkey has many years of professional experience in the areas of quality assurance, quality control and auditing and inspection.

After studying pharmaceutical technology at the University of Applied Sciences Lemgo/Detmold, Ms Westerbarkey began her professional career in 2005 at Rottendorf Pharma GmbH in Ennigerloh.

There she initially took over the field of cleaning validation for packaging lines and supported the further development and optimisation of cleaning validation in the entire company. Other focal points of her work were environmental monitoring for the company and the qualification of a newly constructed purified water plant. During this time, she also gained a wealth of experience in quality assurance processes.

After 15 years of professional experience in the field of cleaning validation, she made an excursion into quality control (with a focus on stability testing) and then expanded her job profile to include the task of equipment qualification. As a team leader, she supports her employees in all matters that arise during qualification.
