Thomas Schreiner, PhD

Thomas Schreiner has been Head of Quality Management, EHS & Vigilance of the COO Organisation since 2022. Before that, he held different positions in the company. His tasks included sterile production, qualification and validation, consultancy and compounding. He works as a speaker on specific topics in the area of GxP compliance.

After graduating in pharmacy and receiving a PhD in Pharmaceutical Technology, he started his professional career in Sterile Production at Fresenius AG in Bad Homburg in 1995. He worked as a Trainee for two years and became head of the production lines used for the manufacture of infusion solutions. In 1998, he joined the subsidiary Pharmaplan GmbH where he worked in the area of qualification/validation and worldwide GMP compliance consultancy.

In 2007, he moved to Fresenius Kabi where he worked in the area of quality management and became Head of GMP Compliance and QM Systems. From 2008, he was responsible for technologies and compliance for global compounding centres.
