Stefan Kettelhoit, PhD

Since 2005 Stefan Kettelhoit is a freelance consultant for life science companies. He has many years of experience in the areas of development, pharmaceutical technology and international project management. As a freelance auditor and consultant, he works for national and international pharmaceutical companies, manufacturers of medicinal products and packaging materials.

After graduating in pharmacy and receiving a PhD in Pharmaceutical Technology, Stefan Kettelhoit started his professional career at Bayer AG. He initially worked in the Pharmaceutical Technology Development department and then as Project Manager for international projects. In 2001, he joined Implanta AG, the manufacturer of medical devices, where he was responsible for developing a QM system and aseptic production unit.

In subsequent years, he founded Sepaserve GmbH and blue inspection body GmbH, a service provider of accredited third-party GMP audits with a focus on pharmaceutical excipients and active ingredients. He also worked as a freelance consultant and auditor.

In 2014 he joined the Hermann Bock GmbH as a family member, a manufacturer of medical care beds. There he was managing director and subsequently also managing partner until 2019 inclusive. During this time he developed with SMART Care Control® an innovative, contactless control and sensor system for care support.

Since 2020 Stefan Kettelhoit has been working as a freelance consultant again.
