Margit Gieseler, PhD

Margit Gieseler has been CEO of GILYOS GmbH since 2011. The pharmaceutical service provider specialises in freeze drying and provides solutions in the areas of formulation and process development, analysis and consulting as well as customised training in the area of lyophilisation.

After graduating in Pharmacology and receiving a PhD in Pharmaceutical Technology, Margit Gieseler started her professional career at Boehringer Ingelheim in Pharmaceutical Development.

She was initially responsible for the evaluation of new technologies and later for the development of formulas and processes for new early and late-phase active ingredients, including highly potent substances. She is also interested in continuous process improvement (Six Sigma).
