André Deister

André Deister has been employed by Sanofi - Aventis Deutschland GmbH as Head of OC Packaging Material since the beginning of 2015. In the meantime, he has assumed overall responsibility for packaging material control, which also includes secondary packaging materials, processing aids and single-use systems. He has many years of experience in the testing and release of pharmaceutical packaging materials and has carried out many supplier audits at manufacturers of packaging materials.

André Deister worked at Solvay Pharmaceuticals in the areas of packaging material testing and the auditing of suppliers of pharmaceutical packaging materials. He then moved to Sandoz Pharmaceuticals in Gerlingen as the responsible Head of Packaging Material Testing. At the contract filler Vetter-Pharma Fertigung, André Deister held the position of Quality Manager for pharmaceutical packaging materials used in aseptic production.

Prior to moving to Sanofi-Aventis Deutschland GmbH, he was the responsible Head of QC at SCHOTT Schweiz AG in St. Gallen where he was responsible for heading incoming goods inspections, in-process controls and the final control of pharmaceutical packaging materials.
