Swissmedic: Portal Update

Swissmedic has updated its medicinal products' portal, introducing a new process for ordering GxP certificates and granting direct access to all pre-registered company administrators. However, Swissmedic acknowledged the absence of a new onboarding process for companies or administrators as a known issue.

New Features:

  • All pre-registered company administrators now have direct access to the Swissmedic Portal.
  • Company administrators can authorize their users to access and use the Swissmedic Portal through the eIAM delegated management application.
  • Within the Establishment Licenses context page, we have enabled the "Certificate" button. Clicking this button will open the order assistant, guiding you step by step through the GxP certificate ordering process. This means, that the existing process using MLP/eGov-Portal to order GxP certificates is replaced, starting now.
